Who should get the updated COVID vaccine?
- Everyone aged 5 years and up should get 1 updated COVID vaccine, at least 2 months after the most recent dose. The updated COVID vaccine offers better protection against current variants.
- Children under age 5: Talk to your child’s pediatrician. Children 6 months to 4 years should get 1 or more doses of updated COVID vaccine, depending on the doses they’ve previously gotten.
