2018 Millstone Borough Heavy Trash Clean-up Day

The Borough’s 2018 Annual Clean-up Day will be held on Tuesday, June 5th 2018 between 6am and 12 pm.

Rubbish should be curbside prior to 5am on collection day. only bulky trash such as furniture, lumber, construction debris, appliances, bundled brush and tree parts will be collected. Smaller items should be bagged canned or bundled so that one person can handle it.

The following items WILL NOT be collected:

  • Hazardous materials (fuels, paints, pesticides)
  • Tires
  • Loose items
  • Masonry debris
  • Items heavier than 200 lbs and/or longer than 5 ft.
  • Items containing freon without an evacuation tag from a certified technician
  • Electronics (TVs, computers, printers, etc.)
  • Tree stumps or large tree parts.

Office of Emergency Management

Millstone Borough will be accepting requests to join our Community Emergency Response Team, (C.E.R.T.).

C.E.R.T is a nationally recognized program that trains and prepares volunteers in the community for disaster assistance. Members will be trained in many areas such as; first aid/C.P.R., Light fire suppression, missing person search techniques, etc. Once trained, you will be able to assist Police, Fire, EMS and O.E.M in both emergencies and scheduled events. All training, equipment, and uniforms are free. If interested, please email Mayor Heck at;

Vintage Postcards of Millstone Wanted

The rehabilitation of the Millstone Borough Hall interior is underway, funded by the Somerset County Cultural and Heritage Commission Grant Program, under the direction of the Millstone Historic District Commission, with Tarantino Architect.   And now, we could use the help of the community.
